Article 1 – Definitions

• Entrepreneur: The legal entity that offers products to consumers (Bestekonline.nl).

• Consumer: The natural person who does not act for purposes related to his trade, business or professional activity.

• Agreement: The agreement between the entrepreneur and the consumer for the purchase of products.

Article 3 – Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer from Bestekononline.nl and to every agreement concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer.

Article 4 – The Offer

1. If an offer has a limited validity period, this is explicitly stated.

2. We describe our products (cutlery sets, individual pieces, accessories) as accurately as possible. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer (such as an obvious typographical error in the price of €1 for a silver set) do not bind the entrepreneur.

Article 5 – The Price and Payment

1. All prices mentioned include VAT and exclude shipping costs (unless otherwise stated).

2. The consumer must make the payment via the payment methods offered on the webshop (e.g. iDEAL, Credit card, Bancontact).

Article 6 – Right of withdrawal (Returns)

1. The consumer has the right to cancel the order up to 30  days after receipt without giving any reason.

2. After cancellation, the consumer has another 30 days to return the product.

3. Important: The product may only be returned in its original condition and (if reasonably possible) in the original packaging. For cutlery, this means that the product must not have been used intensively or put in the dishwasher, unless this was necessary to determine the nature of the product.

4. The costs of the return shipment are at the expense of the consumer, unless the product is defective or incorrectly delivered.

Article 7 – Delivery and Execution

1. Bestekonline.nl exercises the utmost care when receiving and shipping products.

2. The place of delivery is the address that the consumer has provided to the entrepreneur.

3. We aim for delivery within 3-5 working days. If a delivery is delayed, we will inform the consumer.

Article 8 – Warranty and Conformity

1. We guarantee that the products comply with the agreement and the specifications stated in the offer.

2. The statutory warranty applies to all our products. This means that a product must do what the consumer may reasonably expect of it.

Article 9 – Complaints Procedure

1. Complaints regarding the performance of the agreement must be submitted to the entrepreneur via info@bestekonline.nl within a reasonable time, within 7 days of discovery, fully and clearly described.

2. We aim to respond to complaints within 14 days.

Article 10 – Retention of title

All delivered goods remain the property of Bestekononline.nl until the full purchase price has been paid.
